First client meeting!
Today we had our first client meeting! The group met with our supervisor, Professor Smith, and a representative from MWH, Ian Cranshaw to discuss the project in detail and ask for clarification and further information we needed. Both were incredibly helpful, and Professor Smith provided us with a number of papers to help guide our research, as well as 2 model projects so that we have an idea of how to structure the final report when it comes to it.
After this, we split the papers by topics as best as we could, with some overlapping in between. For example, Katia and Navraj are focused on Sludge Treatment and Yiheng and Victor are focused on processes for removing Phosphorus and Nitrogen, to name a few. Steady progress is being made with these, and key points and highlights are being noted to be reviewed on Thursday.
As liaison officer, Victor also worked on the website, logo creation and social media pages. We now have active Twitter and Facebook pages, as well as a functional initial website. Here, you can follow regular updates on our progress!
